Btw, not that it matters, but I still think this is maybe totally unrelated to the Havertz injury.
Maybe only the timing makes it appear like that.
Why would we spend almost 70M on a winger/10 because our 9 got injured? We clearly rate Eze firstly and think we need him. I don’t believe this is connected to Havertz at all.
We probably just pushed at the last moment when he got close to Spurs, and maybe we also sold someone in the background, but I think we were confident to get him all this time.
I just don’t believe we got a player of his profile, at that price, to compensate for the loss of player like Havertz.

Just because it happened AFTER Kai got injured it absolutely doesn’t mean it happened BECAUSE Kai got injured.
