Seems like she was half-right though. Doesn’t sound like she’s lying though. If Man City really wanted Rice they’d have paid the money, like they did with Grealish. I doubt they did this to help Arsenal though; I think it’s safe to assume Man City are now are closest rivals and neither club will be doing the other any favours after the events of last season.

If City didn’t do it to help Arsenal, how is she half right? Her whole point was that Pep/City were doing this as a favour to Arteta because he asked them to.

Hopefully I can wake up to this one being done. Getting Havertz, Rice and Timber done and hoefully not losing Partey is a huge window for us, very impressed if we wrap all of these up.
Think that’d be our business done but happy to see another surprise.
Hard to criticise KSE now after the last couple of years, they have really showed intent to spend and be up there with the top clubs in this league.
