IF we signed Rice, I think it would be up there with the Sol Campbell transfer, just because it would be such a transformative signing. Let’s hope we can pull it off.

Yep would be a transformative signing but not in the way you take the captain and leader of the enemy on a free and then goes onto enjoy nothing but success - will never happen again !? Sol has balls

I was coming from more of a footballing perspective and impact on the team, but agree with you. That transfer will never be better unless of course we signed Harry Kane next season on a free! That would result in a proper meltdown!
Loved the way the whole thing with Sol’s transfer was kept under wraps. The journalists who turned up thought they were there for Richard Wright!

Hmmm I don’t think the Rice one would compare to Sol’s transfer at all. That was massive. The impact that Rice could have remains to be seen. Hasn’t pulled up any trees with Wet Spam while Sol was clearly already a big fish in a septic pond.

That means shit’s going down my friend.
Rice will be coming to us, mark my words he is actually a local lad and never had his eyes anywhere else other than Arsenal. He won’t uproot his family to move elsewhere.

I’m calm. Havertz and Rice will join Arsenal once the players return from holiday. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. Timber will be sorted by then and could even be our first over the line.

Yeah this isn’t new. The player wanted Arsenal since we approached in January.
I wonder when we’ll submit our 3rd bid, most likely tomorrow. Though it seems to be a war of attrition between us and City.

Reading these silly nothing updates is one of the main reasons I’m barely active atm. These stupid twitter guys get too much airtime when they’re not saying anything productive.
If I have to read another tweet that says “Rice only wants Arsenal” or “personal terms agreed with Timber” then I’m going to lose it.
These guys really get too much credibility when they haven’t got a clue. Not a single one of these ITKs told us about Timber or Havertz before the news broke that we’d tabled a bid. So what do they actually know?
