Signing Ozil was great, despite him being surplus at Real Madrid but Campbell was unbelievable.
Not only had we bought the best CB in the PL, we signed him from our biggest rivals and getting him on a free was just the icing on the cake.
I’m not convinced we’ll get Rice but if we do, like you say, it will not only be our most expensive transfer by some distance, it will be the biggest statement signing we’ve made.
