Thanks Stan. No one is interested in your Stance on this.
Yeah… all those tweets are getting on my nerves. I’m finding it hard to control my Timber.
What are we thinking? This surely gets done this week, right?
Have we made a 2nd bid?
A long time ago
We need to submit a 3rd
What was the 2nd? I cant find anything about it
Foolishly started scrolling back through this thread to try and find it
So we have so far bid the below
£80m plus add ons, but in many instalments making full payment slow
Then we did £75m plus £15m in addons, which we can only assume must have had less installments
So I think weve made 2 offers of £90m which were refused
So if we keep the instalments low with a faster payment and raise by £10m we should be there
Personally I think with it going quiet I think its been agreed.
As per ExWhuEmployee who is supposedly a reliable source for West Ham, Man City approached Rice’s camp and were informed that the player prefers the Arsenal which made them not bid.
But it appears that this same source came out yesterday and claimed that City are still in the running despite the player’s preference to Arsenal and are willing to bid which led to weirdo Arsenal twitter fans calling him a fraud.
So, they are saying that City are waiting for us to have a bid accepted and they will match it or better it before going back to Rice and try to convince him.
It’s all speculation. No one knows anything and the silence is an indication of nothing. It’s all guess work and one can interpret the silence over this deal in whichever way they want.
Did ExWhuEmployee give that update?
I know he said City are still in the picture but that was to reiterate nothing was done until Arsenal find an agreement with West Ham.
No. That part is guess work from ExWhuEmployee twitter cult who were supporting him as he was whining and crying about Arsenal twitter weirdos calling him a fraud lol.
That’s why I mentioned that it’s all speculation and no one really knows what’s happening with this deal.
Another nothing update
Another one

Fuck off Fabrizio. Ben Jacobs update is much better.
I mean we’re competing with City on this bid. Are we really expecting to come out on top in that scenario? City just need to table something we won’t match which is probably beyond 100m. Rice surely isn’t kicking up a fuss to avoid going there.
It’s just hard to believe right now we can win out in this situation.
In the mean time we might miss out on more realistic targets elsewhere. Really hope the club are ready for plan B here.
I mean yeah but tbh although City do spend a lot, they don’t seem to get involved in bidding wars a lot and they tend to walk away if they have to pay more than what they want.
This seems very glass half empty.
Unless I’m missing something, all I’m seeing is a lot of chatter about City maybe putting in a bid. Haven’t seen anything concrete about their interest being that strong. Nor do I believe that they will go OTT on an offer even if they do suddenly decide they want him. And neither have I seen anything to suggest Rice would go City over Arsenal.
I’m still very much convinced that City are not really going to push hard for Rice and that West Ham are leaking this to push Arsenal to make a bid that suits them more.
