Declan Rice (41)

Since we’re in that mood, which signing we’re going to question next?

100% agree!

Been great since coming on. One particular battle with William Hughes looked like a man Vs boy.

Having a nice break here :+1:

Wtf is he scanning there while he only has Isak to cover there  Such poor awareness.

Poor from Partey also, both are in such poor positions and are always 2 steps behind where they should be.

It’s just unnaceptable having so many players deep, defending, and they are letting Isak to recieve the ball initially, and take that shot unchallenged. Amateur stuff. The whole defence took a break there.

Would love to hear Arteta’s comment on this goal.

Getting tired of Rice, such an average midfielder.

Rice has fallen of a cliff. He is far from average, but he’s ineffective a lot of the time. Feel that he was better at West Ham.

Rate him highly, but this isn’t good enough.

Watching Tonali as a 6 for Newcastle made me jealous… cost half of what Rice cost are we really sure Rice is twice the player?

He’s had some good games and I liked his first season at Arsenal but he isn’t a very exciting passer and I thought he was supposed to be good at carrying the ball but he doesn’t really seem to even do that much anymore.

He’s a safety first midfielder and it doesn’t help he seems exhausted all the time now too.

One thing is for sure.

Guimaraes is twice the player Rice is and he wouldn’t be letting someone jog around him to have a go at the goal like this :+1:

Not to mention he’s 3 times the player Rice is going forward, playmaking wise. :+1:

Seriously. Rice and Partey should be fined for this goal.

Just look at the whole move
Disgraceful.

The over reactions on this forum after a loss never cease to amaze me!

Wait till we’re inevitably dumped from all comps.

Tbf, I think it’s fair game no?

Back-to-back poor results, a failed opportunity to capitalize on Liverpool slipping against Man Utd and another getting us with one foot out the League Cup.

It’s fine to be disappointed with the performance and the result but I draw the line when people question Rice’s quality or any of our other players. Players/teams go through dips in form. We can’t lose perspective!

That’s fine, I like to think positive myself but I get people being pissed right after that game.

I’d worry more about our stature as a club if most fans weren’t angry.

Another player that’s had a pretty ordinary campaign for a 105 million pound midfielder.
