Fucking hero!!!
Immense. Going to be an AFC legend if he keeps this up.
So composed. What a finish.
What a player.
There was never a downside signing Rice, he is top quality and a winner.
Even before the goal I thought he was our best player today.
Worth every penny so far
First goal in such situation and that too against Manchester. The situation, the opponents, the goal and the celebration…… Script straight out of Bollywood!
Boom!

Incredible stuff to get your first goal!
Hero
#Future Arsenal Legend!
There’s some moment that you’ll remember and treasure for the rest of your life.
Late winner versus United, sending fans and players into pandemonium. And then when the final whistle goes, the whole stadium is singing his name. The stuff of dreams
Feels really good knowing this guy is going to be a fixture in the middle of the park for the next 5-6 years (minimum).
I still think, and I’m pretty much sure about it, the best lineup we can play at this very moment is the one with Rice as an 8 and with Partey or Jorginho as a 6.
No doubt we would gain 10 times more defensive control with Rice in place of Havertz, more ball wining ability in a very dangerous area and Rice is possibly the best player in the league at winning the ball high up the pitch. That kind of ball winning ability would primarily make us more dangeorus attacking wise, I’m not focused on the defensive part here.
He also loves to make very dangerous forward runs… I don’t think we would lose anything in the attacking sense with him in stead of Havertz, on the contrary.
I’m not saying we should give up on Havertz, but atm we wont destroy him if he doesn’t start every game and I think our whole play would benefit a lot with having Rice and Partey/Jorginho together on the pitch.
Btw, on a side note… No one should forget Jorginho. He’s still absolutely top top class. He only lacks the energy to play 50 games on top level, and maybe lacks some legs too, but with Rice (and Ode) in front of him that’s issue is basically gone. I always like how our midfield looks when Jorginho is on the pitch. Most of his performances since he came here were top class and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t always be a strong option to start.
Havertz
Elneny lol
Great moment. Keeper mistake though. He got a hand on the ball = saveable.
I was concerned for Rice a little in that celebration
