David Rocastle

No. Although Graham was doing a decent job at Leeds. I remember he had a game he won 4-3 for them and he clearly hated the fact his team was conceeded so many. He jinxed it by going to Spurs, Leeds would go onto spend big money while Graham was complaining about having little to spend at the scum.

There wonā€™t be another like that.
Almost the whole midfield came from the youth team as well as Adams and Keown but Keown went to Everton and Aston Villa before coming back to us.
They all went on to become league title winners with us, except Cole who was the top scorer in the league with Newcastle and then Man U.

When we sold Rocastle, Richardson and Thomas we did drop out of the title contention but Richardson was injury prone and Limpar was a good replacement.
We had a lot of decent midfielders in the squad and Graham wanted a top a GK and striker so he got Seaman and Wright.

Itā€™s a pity we couldnā€™t have got David Platt a few years earlier.

He was good but Iā€™m not sure he was the answer

Yep should have kept Rocastle.

I would have liked this post had it not been for the third paragraph.
