Canāt think of anyone.
Itās an impossible situation. One will be unhappy and leave after a season. Just canāt see it working out. Canāt juggle goalkeepers like that during a season.

Ederson played 11 of the 12/13 games. So no - they didnāt rotate and no - Ortega is almost certainly not a top keeper

Maybe Keylor Navas and Donnarrumma?
Thatās the only example I can think of and even then Navas was at Forest last season. But couple years ago I remember that one well.

I saw games in Europe where City changed their keeper, not going to go stat hunting to prove a point but I did see it, which tells me they trust him and like him enough.
Id suggest the club make the decision on top keepers, Im not talking world class well known GKs. Dont have to be a household name to be a top GK, more so 2 players that could both be number 1 elsewhere.

Ortega player 2 games in Europe. He was their domestic cup keeper if memory serves me right and did a solid job there.

Both are internationals with their eyes on number 1 spot too.
Cup/rotation keeper wont cut it for either of them

Im not saying there are going to be world class well known household names at the same club. Youre not going to get Ederson and Allison at the same club, thats not what im saying.
Im talking from a matter of sheer quality, both GKs in a squad that could be number 1s at other clubs.
Szczesny was our number 2 and had the qualitites to be our number 1, even Martinez was our number 2 when he had the quality to be our number 1.
Having 2 GKs who could both be number 1s at other clubs in my opinion is having 2 top GKs.
Itās good thing for Arsenal for about one season. After that no top keeper will waste his career.
Martinez and Leno didnāt even last a month of competition.
If it happens, I am quite surprised he has agreed to come in and be a cup keeper.

I am curious to see how this keeper battle will pan out.
I donāt think it makes a lot of economic sense given the fees involved.
As per past trends, one of the keepers will leave next season.
If it is Raya, then whatās the point of spending 30m+ on him this season? I donāt see us recouping that 30m next season.
If it is Ramsdale, is Raya really that big of an upgrade over Ramsdale to justify sidelining a younger keeper who has the attributes to improve his game?

Well, you donāt know about GKās goals. Maybe he just wants to get a high salary, avoid possible playing injuries on the pitch. If he wanted to play, he would have found another club, I think. Sitting on the bench all the time is not much fun.
Just imagine Ortega is a top keeper (he isnāt) where are all these other teams with two keepers who are top class?
Raya and Ramsdale are both top 10 in the league. No other team in the league could boast that so it would be only us.
If this happens, am sure heās been told the first team position is up for grabs and that heāll be given ample opportunities to prove himself worthy. No way will he settle for being a cup keeper, not at this stage of his career.
Maybe all this is just a ruse by Mikel to get Rambo on his toes. Just him telling Rambo no one is irreplaceable so donāt get comfortable.
