Danny Welbeck

I liked him a lot, ability wise can be questionable but he always turned up for us.

Hope he does well.

Yep, all the best to him too. I’d love to see him smash it elsewhere.

Attitude wise, if our best 11 technical players shared his workrate, I’m sure we’d be celebrating 3rd spot today let alone 4th

I like Welbz and just like Rambo he gave 100% when playing. Not 65% like Ɩzil.

I know he’s missed so much time in the past three years due to injury, but I still would’ve given him an extension, even for a year or two.

I think he’s fine as a third choice striker when we have the quality of Auba and Laca ahead of him and Nketiah just isn’t ready. It might be harder to find a better third choice option now…

I’ve always been a big fan of Welbz. I like him because he’s got a lot of natural athletic ability and was always a pain in the side of opposition because of this. He was the anti Xhaka.

Seems like a nice guy, and probably could’ve achieved more if his fitness was good, but I really couldn’t care less about him leaving. Quite a forgettable player

Forgettable*? Haha

Oops, that’s the one

Good luck to him.
Will be a decent acquisition for some other club.

Good luck Wele. All the best in the future. And I hope you don’t celebrate against us. :joy:

Good luck to him, but the right decision.

The wages he was on compared to his contribution are a symptom of the shambles we find ourselves in

Why does it sound like the commentator is saying ā€œShitty from Unitedā€ :arteta:

Best of luck to dat guy welbz, gave us a couple of nice memories and im sure he will be popular wherever he ends up, just hope he can stay injury free because he’s one of the nice ones

He might have scored more if playing FIFA19

His transfer was totally worth it for that goal he scored at Old Trafford.

16 mil well spent in my book.

The goal against Leicester was the one for me. Was so happy when that went in. Honestly thought we were going to win the league after that. Obviously it didn’t work out that way, but he gave us hope. I celebrated so hard when he scored that goal.

If he scores the winner in the Europa League final he’ll be a certified legend
