Dani Ceballos

He’s a decent player but after playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and then coming here, it’s going to be difficult to persuade him to stay, unless no other club is interested either.

This is actually a big worry for me. Arteta loves his hard workers, where is the creativity coming from? Xhaka farting long diagonals doesn’t cut it.

The amount of counters this guy kills is ridiculous. He spends way too long on the ball without remotely doing anything creative with it. He’ll be a perfect fit for one of the mid table nothing clubs in Spain.

And we wondered why Torreira was used further up. :man_shrugging:

Luckily we’re on our way to becoming a midtable nothing club in England.

Real Madrid are not going to be getting anywhere near £50M for him either way. He hasn’t cut it at all this season, albeit it’s been a rough one.

He’ll end up signing for Valencia for £30mil tops

Ceballos will end up like Canales, Parejo and Santi.
Only he’s just way less talented.

Pretty much, yep.

He didn’t have a great game but he was the catalyst for our goal. Spun, left a guy on his ass, sucked in the defense and passed to Saka on the overloaded side. Still a better midfielder than anyone at our club bar Geundouzi. They are easily the best pairing

Our best midfield would be Guen 6, Ceballos 8, Ozil 10. Rest of the midfielders we have (if any) are dross.

Yeah that midfield paring was good but we were still missing a creative outlet in front of those two. These lineups Arteta is picking are just mimicking Emery small dick ball. Saka shoulda been on the left, Auba through the middle and Özil as the 10.

That midfield would get their asses handed to them lol.

As opposed to?

He’ll go on to have a perfectly good career at Valencia or Sevilla, although ultimately never be remembered as an amazing player or anything. Definitely not cut out for the Premier League.

Tbf a move to Sevilla or Valencia is just as big as us right now, if not bigger.

Genuinely think he’s a classy player at the right club, just a shame it wont be here

That’s the point, makes no difference.

You may have improved the past months ballerino but as my fellow gooner Claude said…

Nobody mentioned his loan got extended. I’m hoping we will catch lightning in a bottle here and have a good end to the season and a good FA Cup run and somehow convince him to stay permanent.
