He tried too much yesterday when he came on, but you can instantly see that he is going to play the riskier / adventurous pass, to be cute and show some guile to get out of a press or a defensive block.
He misjudged the pace of the game when he came on which is understandable. Have very big hopes when he hits his stride.
It’s not just that he passes it forwards, it’s the speed of his release. He was missjudging a few passes but hopefully as he plays more he can iron out that problem. His playmaking dfinitely provides a different dimension to our midfield

Great performance but clearly needs to work on stuff.
He has a tendency to keep the ball more than he should and likes to pick the odd man out rather than the obvious, which when done right is amazing but if you forcefully keep doing that, it’s not that efficient.
