They have 8 teams from the bottom half left to play. You have to think Vieira would’ve picked up points from that lot given the tough run they’ve had recently. Swear we’re the only team that beat them comfortably?
Remains to be seen if this will be a fairytale ending for Hodgson but have a feeling it will go wrong.

The narrative will of course be that they were right to sack Vieira. Despite the fact that the gulf in teams the two managers will have been tested against is quite wide.

Sack Vieira without a manager already lined up - WTF - amateur hour at it’s finest. Then put in their youth coach to lead the game against the side top of the table (I was obviously happy with this from an Arsenal perspective) and then go back to Woy. Vieira had shown he took points from the lower teams (their next 10 games see 8 against lower half opposition).

Hodgson is a reserved, defence first coach, but Palace’s problems haven’t been conceding goals, it has been failure to score - how can any owner possibly think he is the right choice to help a team that is struggling to score?
