Cristiano Ronaldo

People sleeping on Messi’s double figure assist tally :scream:

Except 37 year old Ronaldo is still playing for a top PL side and 34 year old Messi has hit semi retirement in Farmers Ligue 1 getting outscored by part-time binmen.

GOAT shit

GOAT recognise GOAT

Ronaldo will always have games like this even until he’s 40. He’s a poacher now and as long as he’s getting service he will score goals.

Problem is you can’t be considered goat if your game completely relies on getting service from others. You’re just great goalscorer.

I get this but not sure this game was a good example of this. You can say this for the second goal but the first and third goal had very much to do with Ronaldo rather than the service.

I find it hilarious that CR7 has barely resembled a football player at times this season and is so far off the pace in many games but a 3 goal haul against Spurs is suddenly enough to reignite his standing in the game today.

Many Juventus fans and players couldn’t wait to see the back of him and many United fans have been plenty disillusioned with him this year. He’s a spent force but a player of his calibre will always be able to produce decent goalscoring numbers regardless.

The only thing worse than a Ronaldo hat trick is listening to Arlo White on commentary in the US slobbering over him.

Can we not bring Messi in this thread all the time?
Trying to enjoy the last seasons of these two legends.

It was a pleasure to witness a 37-year-old Ronaldo scoring that belter yesterday. It is more enjoyable because it amounts to no negative consequence to Arsenal

Messi fans are just so insecure about their little hobbit king struggling to dominate against a bunch bartenders and drain-cleaners that they have to come here and try knock GOATnaldo down a few pegs.

Good job, he looks ready for the MLS

That’s a bit demeaning to the MLS. It’s not the strongest of leagues, but it’s strong enough for a 44 year old, retired Thierry Henry to be far from ready for it.

Looks like that leaping header from the GOAT inspired the NFL GOAT to come out of retirement.

Meanwhile, Messi out here getting booed in a Farmers Ligue game. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::thinking:
