Cristiano Ronaldo

I’d be overjoyed to see Ronaldo go to City, I could hydrate myself for a week on nothing but United fans’ tears.

Every summer since about 2012 they’ve had tents in their pants about him potentially coming back, it would just be fucking amazing if he went to City.

Ronaldo will go and play patty cakes with Messi at PSG.

I hope he does I want to see if they can play together

Would be incredible seeing Ronaldo back in the PL

Imagine the chaos on fants.

Would love it to happen just to see the united
Fans reaction lol. Ronaldo is also a better fit than Kane he’s the exact profile they’re missing. This means Sterling and Grealish might play at CF. It is harder to defend against a front three that all changes positions than one where a player can only play as a striker And nothing. Plus he’s a proven winner which Kane is not. But keep on eye on PSG if mbappe moves can see Ronaldo moving to France if Real Madrid get the French Pele.

It makes perfect sense for both parties. Cities are lacking an out and out finisher and in Ronaldo they’ll have one of the best at that.

The United fans’ reaction to this will also be superb

Funny thing is I don’t think he suits United now.

Ronaldo doesn’t think he can compete to the level he wants to at Juve so he wants to leave. There is no chance Ronaldo wasn’t offered to Man Utd. They just rejected the possibility of signing him so he has to look elsewhere.
Ronaldo may have a connection with Man Utd and SAF but at the end of the day he is one of the most competitive and ambitious players.

At 36, he can either stick with Juve for another year who are going through a rebuild and hope Max turns things around or he can join arguably the best team in the world the last couple of years.

Ronaldo left United 12 years ago so would have pretty much nothing left over but the fans, who I assume he doesn’t give a shit about anyway.

This would be one of the biggest heel turns in modern football. Joining City would be a gut punch for United fans - I love it!

Yeah but he is listed as their legend. It takes a shine off a little.
Ronaldo must value another CL more than the novelty of being a legend I suppose, considering he is the legend of the game anyway.

His brand will be forever attached to Madrid for me and I imagine almost all of the rest of the world that aren’t United fans, so it’s not like he’s joining Barcelona. I can’t imagine his United legacy is something to care about tbh.

City weren’t even a real rival in his day :arteta:

If United fans thought that his history with them would stop him from joining a club like City to compete for the biggest trophies then they never really knew him at all.

I think Ronaldo did have a lot of loyalty to Ferguson. But United as a club? No.

Makes sense for Ronaldo and City, with the goals he’ll give them I think they’ll get the edge back over Chelsea.

It’s probably a good move for Juventus too thinking in the medium term. Whilst the signing hasn’t failed I think both parties will look on it as a wasted opportunity.
