Cristiano Ronaldo

Messi plays with his pal like Busquets, Suarez, Alba and having Mascherano as manager… what a dream.

Time to drop the shame and own it.

I wrote a document and told everyone at work upfront—it’s ChatGPT-generated. That’s just how things are now.

Also

Slowly he’s getting them all replaced, have you not heard?

Busquets is retiring, and they’re signing Reguilon.
Suarez is the one that remains. The loyalty he has for that man knows no bounds.

On a serious note, think Leo will be done after next year’s WC.

having an additional year or two having fun with his pals, that’s a huge bonus… sure he is a lot happier than the time with PSG.

I still don’t understand what the issues were at PSG, or specifically with Paris.

Pretty decent city for a popular sportsperson to live in you’d think.

unnecessary egos

Not surprised in the slightest. Ronaldo as a brand is far bigger than Messi’s; even though arguably Messi is a better player.

Just like most walks of life, the most financially successful brand in a category is very rarely, if ever, the best one.

Messi makes more in endorsements than CR7

Add this in the “fuck it, I’m Cristiano Ronaldo” catalog.

“Previously at the World Cup…”

To define if I’m one of the best in history?

I mean, is he lying?

CR7 international record is a stain on his legacy. All them filler goals in friendlies and competitions don’t mean shit he’s been awful at most tournaments he’s ever played for his country.

Even the year they won the Euros he was absolutely awful in most games.

How you perform at the biggest tournament in football at the highest level under all that pressure is obviously going to define you.

Messi dealt with it his entire career despite making multiple tournament finals and now he settled his own legacy and established himself firmly as the greatest in most eyes with that win.

CR7 will shift the goalposts. If he won the WC in 2022 he’d be telling everyone how it defines a legacy and nobody can deny him

Keep cashing in those checks buddy. His career is irrelevant now.

The logic & rationality won’t shut up Ronaldo fanbabies on internet. The amount of brainrot I read on instagram makes me cry. That debate never gonna die.
