Ronaldo has a lot of attributes missing in his game that Messi has. One massive gap for me is Messiās playmaking & vision. Ronaldo just doesnāt have it in his game.
Itās a matter of what level of playmaking could you add to Ronaldoās game. If it is Pirlo-Fabregas level, itās still one tier below. If it is Ozil-Iniesta level, then you perhaps match Messiās game.

Messi is more attractive in what he does on the pitch, keeps up with the goals of Ronaldo while assisting more, has the WC now and just keeps his mouth shut mostly.
Ronaldo worked harder and became elite from a talented but petulant little cunt. Talks too much because he knows he has to try and prove heās the best, really if he shut up itād help his case.
Anyway, hope he somehow wins his own WC even if heās a donkey they drag over the line. He deserves one to his name for what heās done in football.

I think Messi is the GOAT but I also personally value the ability to be successful in multiple top leagues. For me, a major thing CR7 has over Messi is that he performed in 3 separate leagues. Itās not to say Messi wouldnāt have done well in the PL but it didnāt happen.
I honestly donāt think thereās a major difference between a WC and a Euros either as they both require some luck and the teams end up pretty similar at the end of it anyway, France, Spain, Germany etc vs maybe an Argentina or Brazil in there who havenāt really been any better than the top European teams over the last 10 years anyway. The āprestigeā matters to people but for me itās not drastically different.

I donāt know man, the Euros is some garbage these days. Bad format with bad teams getting to knockouts. Bad football all around.
World Cup is vastly better at the moment. Teams like Japan and Morocco were giving European teams a rough time in the last WC, in fact Iād go further European nations are really crap outside of the elite and some of the elite are very overrated.
Winning is what ultimately matters but Portugal got there through some bullshit as well.
Come on, no serious tournament can be doing this.
