Guess that rules out Hato. Thought as much, there was zero mention of it in Dutch media.
Mosquera could be more of a bargain as well considering his contract is expiring next summer and Valencia’s financial difficulties.
On another note, as it was reported last week, it does look like things are now picking up that we’re getting closer to July.
Kepa and Zubi signed, Norgaard next and now this. Maybe we’ll get a proper update on the striker front soon too.

A right footed/right sided defender always made a lot more sense than another left footer. Mosquera will also likely be a lot cheaper than players like Hato or Guehi.
It looks like Mosquera started five matches at RB last year, so primarily a CB but hopefully with the ability to be the break-glass-in-case-of-emergency third choice RB that Partey was this year for us.
If we sign him then we’ve addressed every “secondary” need this summer as economically as possible - Kepa for 5m, Norgaard is probably a bit cheaper than extending Partey at 250k per week, and I don’t think we’ll find an acceptable defender cheaper than Mosquera.
Hopefully it means we’re going big elsewhere.
