Crazy how the England are wondering why pitches in Pakistan weren’t like this previously
Pakistan cricket on the rise again. Defeated England in the test series by a big margin and now dominated and won the series against Australia in Australia. Incredible.
Looking forward to Virat Kohli’s possible last series v Australia in coming weeks. Don’t think we’ll see him play test again in Australia.
Doubt it. Just a short term uptick.
See who they appointed to PCB director.
There is no consistent excellence such as in India, Aus, Eng, NZL.
Just the odd surprise result and purple patch.
Within 20 years I wouldn’t be surprised if the team is Netherlands, Ireland level
Tbf, I don’t think it matters so long they win a major trophy or two per decade which they tend to do anyways despite having no structure or consistency at admin level.
Meanwhile India have come back from a home battering to take the Aussies to the cleaners in the first test. Guess we’re unlikely to see that much consistency, which is probably good for the unpredictability of the game.
Check the Pakistan Vs West Indies series to see the decline of 2 great former cricketing nations.
Pathetic stuff
Sport is descending into a farce with this hosting arrangement India have for the CT
Rabada deserves this moment.
Congratulations to South Africa. Great Test Match, they had to fight hard, against the best in the world but that’s what it takes to win an ICC trophy. Their first in 27 years.
Amazing news. Great team. Very well done to beat one of the cartel
It’s more impressive that NZ won it before them despite only 27 people in the whole country actually caring about cricket.
England on course to pull off a great chase here.
And there it is
You don’t win test matches if you are poor in the field and depend on one bowler for all your wickets. Lots of thinking for the Indian team management to do.
South Africa’s Mulder apparently declared at 367 not out on Day 2 lunch. Doubt they still won’t have won against Zimbabwe if he’d just batted an hour more to get those 33 runs for the world record. Seems like a very strange decision to me.
England on the brink of a sensational victory at Lords here
Crawley and Duckett putting in a decent innings to chip away at India’s score
🏴 absolutely obliterated the Indian score.
Root gets his 100
One would imagine England will look to post a score so they don’t have to bat in the 4th innings here.
