Pakistan did better than expected.
Everyone expected India to dominate them completely given how poor Pakistan have been since April but also the fact India play top level T20 cricket (IPL + Busy calendars) you’d expect India to win comfortably but the script almost went in Pakistan’s favour until they bottled it.
Losing to South Africa by just 1 run was heartbreaking. Sends us out of the world cup too. Though has been a decent learning experience in our first world cup this.

Amazing scenes and a wonderful achievement by Afghanistan to reach the semi finals for the first time. Fully deserved even though there was some desperate unsportsmanlike conduct in this game that soured it a little. But what a team they’ve become. One of Cricket’s great stories seeing an associate side become such a force on the white ball stage. Easily the second best side in Asia now.
Intriguing start to the final.
India looked like they were plain sailing. 2 wickets have stopped them in their tracks.
