Iirc there’s still no tv deal for it here and they only recently announced cities. Sounds like it’s going to be a shitshow.
UEFA offering a free World Cup Finals ticket (note the plural, so not the actual final) if you attend all 20 of the Club World Cup matches that are being played across America.
I can only assume that ticket sales aren’t going well, especially given that most countries are warning about the risks of going to America at the moment.
We dodged a co-efficient bullet not being involved in this money grabbing shit show. Our players get a holiday this summer. Man City and Chelsea’s don’t.

Imagine how many flights that would be, including getting there. Insane.
This is almost as boring as international qualifying games so to make it more interesting they should invite every club from every country, including Conference League level.
Then have the big clubs not being seeded so the likes of Barcelona could be drawn against Dunfermline in the early rounds, at least it would be marginally more entertaining.

The prize money will be nice but surely this is gonna have a negative effect next season for the teams that have deep runs.
City for example, I think it essentially kills their preseason.
Or Madrid, Alonso could have used a preseason to properly assess prepare the team but that’s fucked.
