Chelsea

Yep. But money.

You’re right fellas, I suppose I’m saying this is a ‘you get what you ask for’ situation.

That’s why I was questioning who’s really looking after some of these players. In theory it’s the agents but we know that’s not always how it works in real life.

They gave Sterlings #7 to Neto lol

What absolute shitter of a club, all there silverware but you’ll never remove the stink

And you wonder when Victor Osimhen has publicly stated that he won’t join Chelsea under any circumstances because they are a mess.

This just shows how this clubs behaves and lacks any sort of class. Chelsea are literally behaving like a spoilt child casting aside new toys that they no longer like.

What I really don’t understand is why any serious player would consider signing for Chelsea now. If they can do what they want to Chilwell, Sterling, and Gallagher, they can do it to any of their players. I really hope this backfires on the owners and the club. The Manager isn’t going to be there next season.

I just hope we spank them home and away this season!

wondering why there are still many players want to join them.

I know I know… there are agents… but still, they really should have a bad rep in the football world.

See what players want to join them though.

For the majority of them it’s an upgrade on what they were before, both in terms of club and money.

I don’t think going to a shit club that you are not sure if the coach will last long, and if the club will take you serious enough or loan you out to a club that you never planned to go… is really an “upgrade”.

Neto was playing for Wolves and hasn’t had a full season in like 4 years. Felix wasn’t wanted at Atleti and Barca didn’t want to sign him on a permanent.
Dewsbury-Hall was playing for a Leicester that are favourites to go down.

The rest are a bunch of randos.

feels like this has been the case for years and years yet still they go  I guess they do win things now and then, is that why it still works? or are they kids who grew up with mid 2000s Chelsea and have some inflated idea of their mock grandieur perhaps.

i really hope they start getting such a bad rep that no one will even look in their direction soon enough. Unfortunately the money they pay will always get players through the door :santi:

I understand 7 means a lot for United.

Chelsea??

Next summer will be interesting (assuming there’s no transfer ban). Will players still want to derail the early parts of their career when they need to be accumulating minutes by going there and trying to slug it out with 4 or 5 other players who play their position?

You’d probably still get people like Caleb Wiley, for example, who signed for Chelsea but will never ever play a match for them. He was signed for a relatively small amount of money in order to loan out and flip for a fee later on.

My guess is it’s Sterling’s number. They just stripped it from him and gave it to Neto.

if it was just Sterling, not a fuss to make it is like a holy number.

Appear to be getting outplayed by Swiss club Servette (thanks google) at Stamford Bridge, although still 0-0 at halftime.
