He might be back in the summer. Not sure how chelsea shift him without accepting a dross bid from inter and they do need a striker.

I am not worried about this club.
Good appointment, Chelsea are collecting enough talent to the point it’ll be hard for them to fail like this season with coherent coaching.

Chelsea have somehow managed to rake in +£100m in the last few hours. Kovacic, Havertz, Koulibaly, and Ziyech.
Mount and Gallagher are still on their books. Hudson-Odoi linked to Saudi Arabia. They’ll probably break £200m

Does put some pressure off them regarding selling. Man Utd better be prepared to pay 60+m for Mount now. Brighton will have to play ball on Caicedo too.
Suddenly Chelsea gain significant leverage.
They are going to have to do a lot more business if Mount goes too. They will be losing Mount, Havertz, Kovacic, Koulibaly, Mendy and Ziyech, thats a huge amount of outgoing players who were all pretty well invovled (excl maybe Ziyech).
Gotta say thats mainly due to us on the bid for Kai
The other 3 are probably under average bids right now, but the 65-70m they get from us plus those other low bids is what sets them on the way to be ok again.

We need to forget this idea that Arsenal buying Havertz is ‘funding’ them to buy Caicedo. Chelsea would have made funds available to buy him regardless of us buying from them anyway. They’re cockroaches of the footballing world and will always find a way to overcome any punishment thrown their way.
