Chelsea

They could just get their main man in right now and not bother with all of this interim stuff. Season is done, prepare and try to un-fuck yourselves for next season.

Seems crazy the direction they’ve gone

If I were Chelsea hierarchy I’d have sounded out Rodgers for a few months. I’m sure he’d have jumped at the chance.

At least he’s got a proven ability to get his teams performing at a certain level even if he can’t sustain it.

What it does for Mudryk or Felix is ridiculous. The whole lot is pissing in the wind with them.
It basically unsettles every player in that squad.

Why Frank though. What has he got that whoever is doing it now doesn’t? Aside from Chelsea credentials none of those guys in the dressing room will give a shit about.

She’s just getting defensive because it’s Chelsea @Stroller :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Exactly mate, you’re better off just keeping whoever the cunt was that was caretaker last night over bothering to get Fat Frank for the remaining 2 months.

Better off how? If Potter was out of his depth what’s the point in retaining his assistant who has zero managerial experience and less stature?

At least with Lamps you can placate the fans from turning on the new ownership with a very likable figure until the next guy gets in. It’s not that complicated or a bad move all things considered

Yep @sevchenko step right up. Back your man

When we thump him 4-0 I’ma be feeling good I’ll tell you that.

If it’s Nagelsman your after though it makes more sense to move now.
Your in the CL quarter final. You have an outside chance of a big performance that at the very least could buy you some momentum and belief going forward.
You get nine games just to have a look at what you have and need.
Find a house and get experience of the PL in general.

We’ve gone full circle. In a scenario somewhat similar to this Lampard was sacked and Tuchel came in and resulted in a CL.

This ownership is backwards.

I thought the Lampard rumour was a joke earlier. Couldn’t believe when I saw this being reported on Sky when I got home tonight. Has to be one of the worst managerial decisions ever made in the history of the PL.

There is a serious competition now between Spurs and Chelsea now on who is the biggest joke!

No sensible manager wants to come into Chelsea right now when they have a 100 man squad. Very difficult to coherently coach such a large group of players, many of whom have mentally switched off and will be a negative influence on the group.

You express interest for taking over maybe towards the end of this season, when the pressure is fully off, out of all competitions. Then demand the club gets rid of 10-15 of the shitters.

I can see a coach like Nagelsmann coming in but not straight away. It’s a death trap currently.

The immediate uplift and bounce this will give the club and fans is a concern with us still due to play them.

They’ve got city to play as well though. I doubt anybody thinks that over there and we shouldn’t either.

City will wipe the floor with Chelsea at the Etihad, like they’ve done twice already this season.

So should we at the Emirates.

Oh no we are bottlers, remember?

Yes… apparently they did move for him, but he wants to wait until the summer. Hence a caretaker. Reports still say Nagelsmann is their priority, but if he won’t come now, what do you want them to do? Kidnap him?!

Fat Frank confirmed… What an insane decision haha
