If the manager they want isn’t available/willing to move until summer it’s a fine move as a stopgap. It’s not like he’ll have many expectations or anything, they’re 11th with 9 games to go, they know they aren’t getting CL.

How can it be a terrible move? Which manager can they give 9 games to that would be considered a fantastic move?

But seriously, i don’t think it’s that deep with Chelsea. Barring a miracle in the CL, their season is done. They probably just want a guy to come in for a couple of months, give some good chat and then go on his way. He knows the club and there are not many - if any- top managers who’ll come in just for a couple of months.

I think that approach was fine first time around for him and them.
I don’t quite seeing the love being there this time off the fans or respect off this squad of players.
Should of tried a part time approach for Steve Holland for me.
