Chelsea

Ahh fair enough
I knew he was in there as I remember him buying players with the new money and getting the name ‘Tinkerman’ as he never stuck with the same line up as he had to many players to choose from!

Not much has changed over there in all that time has it!

Well they’ve stopped winning games since Todd came in.

The Chelsea squad has considerable potential, particularly if they sign Felix in the summer.

A lot of managers would do some serious damage with these players.

Hope Potter clings on for a couple of months yet. Need them to put together a couple of wins. Preferably he keeps his job up until they visit us at the Emirates lol, then a big hammering will get him the sack

Imagine working at a place where the money is good but job security is literally zero. Just can’t understand the reason some of the managers decide to go there, especially guys like Potter who’ve just gotten their first “big” job. Could be a while before he gets another big job after he leaves Chelsea.

We’ve had 3 managers in that time? Four if you include Freddie’s short stint?

I wouldn’t.

GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Leeds (Fofana, 53)

CHELSEA LEAD!

Potter’s side are deservedly ahead as Chilwell whips in a corner from the left and Fofana arrives to head past Meslier for his first Chelsea goal.

Chelsea fans are singing ‘We’ve scored a goal!’

hey it’s ChelseaFan sticking my head in once every year or two…

Just want to state for the record I still don’t like Arsenal and never will, but…i’d prefer you guys win the title than Man City because that’s just getting boring at this point.

Cheers guys

Kinda…it’s relative.

Chelsea had probably be best and deepest squad in the league at that point and were coming off Mourinho who is a great manager when things are going well but worst than nothing (only creates problems) when they are not.

The one I always felt was hard done by at Chelsea was Ancelotti

Noted but he was still a manager with relatively low top-level experience. His highest qualification at the time was managing Israel.
He could have easily made the situation worse as we noticed with Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United.

He was just one penalty away from winning the Champions League.

Yeah. Beating Liverpool in the semi final of the CL was significant and getting into the final after being so close over the years was a milestone for them.

I must commend OA on it’s remarkable restraint when a poster called chelseafan comes here saying he’s never liked Arsenal and picking up many likes without having to resort to calling him a cheeky cunt and telling him to fuck off.

Congratulations OA for not lowering yourselves to that sort of behaviour

He’s a really old member of the boards haha. We used to have quite a few members from rival clubs on the old forum.
