Chelsea

Only German sides will want Havertz and I doubt they’ll pay 50m for him, they’re too cheap for that.

Moving players on is easier said than done and that has applied to Chelsea too in recent years.

Bakayoko somehow still Chelsea player. Batshuayi they employed for 6 years, loaning him 6-12 months. Victor Moses is another case. Drinkwater was the same.

In what universe? He’s been a bust for them and no German team is forking out 50m for him.

We’ll see. I love taking the piss about him but it’s clear as day chelsea are misusing him and I think a lot of teams would be willing to take a chance.

Never expected they’d get a good chunk of their money back for morata either but they did. Chelsea have a knack of pulling off stupid fees for shit players.

They can’t sell outside of England anymore. At least not without paying out wages for scrubs like Pulisic, Havertz, Mount, etc. The continent is broke as a joke so I think they’ll have to sell a lot of guys at a loss.

Feel really naive right now recollecting that I claimed Chelsea won’t spend as they used to under Roman.

I don’t understand the justification behind these signings. Even if they win multiple trophies, can they recoup this money?

Are they planning to sell Chelsea for a higher sum?

Sport is about winning, maybe that’s a justification.

If I am a buying club dealing with Chelsea, I should know they are negotiating from a weak position cause they absolutely have to offload a bunch of players, and so I am going to low ball them as much as I can.

From your list, only Gallagher will probably go for around 30 m (paying for potential). Havertz shouldn’t fetch more than 20m IMO. So 150 million for all those seems more likely.

Conspiracy hat: Roman is still pulling strings behind the scenes.

Boehly is just the front man.

It all depends on when they can shift those players ad maybe even who is first and sets a precedent.

All in one window (know you haven’t said this), at those prices, not a chance. Clubs are going to look for most of those on loan first too. If I had to throw a total if say 100 max but probably less.

Someone should tell Potter. :henry2:

Fixed it for Potter-stans.

That B-list loophole around registering everyone they signed is apparently nonsense. Pretty positive even Sky Sports jumped on that, lol.

So yeah, only 3 players can join. Logic says Enzo, Mudryk and Felix but then they miss Badiashile who’s looked very good for them so far.

All I know someone will be left unhappy.

Transfer Gossip: Ruthless Boehly puts six up for sale at Chelsea as Arsenal plan shock move; Leeds reject Man Utd star; Everton want ex-Real Madrid man on a free (msn.com)

Ziyech
Pulisic
Hudson-Odoi
Auba
Kovacic
Koulibaly

According to the internet:

Ziyech - 100k a week
Pulisic - 150k a week
Hudson-Odoi - 120k a week
Auba -170k a week
Kovacic - 100k a week
Koulibaly - 200k a week

Good luck to them.

Id take Kovacic

if cheap like Jorginho, I would also

Heard Ziyech is on £200+k pw before and that’s been the main stumbling block trying to flog him out.

Btw, I very much doubt Kovacic is on the same wages as Eddie. If so, his agent needs to be fired.

He’s so fucking good. And against popular opinion but I’d have Havertz any day of the week. There is a world class player in there.

Yuck

I would have had a career in media if the bar for entertainment was as low as it is right now.
