At this rate, does Potter even survive the season.
They need a hard reboot.
Massive shame for them Graham Potter and the mad yank are not Mikel and Edu
Back doing what he does best tbf.

Probs cos I think the Chelsea squad is awful. Their squad isn’t much worse than their league position tbh. Theyre 10th and I think us, City, Pool, Utd, Spurs all have better squads. So even at 100% performance they’re 6th best at the very most.
Chelsea remind me of us about 2 years ago, bloated disjointed squad that’s terribly balanced with overpaid and a lot of ageing players…
Big job ahead for them and Potter, 1 win in 9 league games is it ? Not to dissimilar to Arteta’s run in the first half of the 20/21 season.
Two wins in their last 10.
The NBC commentator said something like “will anything go right for Potter” as if he’s just a passive participant in their awfulness.
Is it though? I’ll give you he has had one too many injuries but nobody told him to use Lewis Hall over Cucurella, a player who he should be the first one to know how to use seeing as Cucurella had a stellar season under him at Brighton.
Potter needs to accept some blame here. It’s a result driven business. They’re on a relegation form. There are zero positive signs.
Yip, their squad is terrible. Old CBs, best RB is injured, not much in midfield outside of Kova and Jorginho, Sterling injured, a young guy in Broja, a keeper who is mistake prone and another who cant play with the ball at his feet like a modern GK. Kante is injured.
Do you genuinely think this Chelsea squad is better than 6th best in the PL?
I’m not saying Potter is doing amazingly but this is a really bad Chelsea squad and I think its hard to judge a guy based purely on poor squad assembly from previous regimes.
Cucurella has been incredibly poor deservedly dropped, knowing him from before doesn’t mean he’s going to suddenly start playing like he did previously is it.
Results aren’t good enough but let’s not act like there aren’t huge issues with that team including key difference makers staying injured
I don’t see him dropping James Charles who’s been their worst performer by some distance. He gets no sympathy from me.
No idea who that is
Who is he gonna drop Havertz for? Broja? Auba? Auba has been trash and Broja is just really not good enough and might even still be injured.
He dropped Cucurella for Lewis Hall(who’s a CM btw) I’m sure he could come up with some other genius idea like that.
Broja has an ACL, obvious why he persists with Havertz over Auba
Can definitely see parallels with the old squad we used to have, they need a heck of a lot of surgery with a concise plan with regard to transfers plus key players back, until then they’ll continue to flounder.
Have no idea why people like to use Havartz as striker…
The word “versatile” is really misleading.
Yes, he can play multiple positions but time after time he wasted a lot of chances as a striker.
More excuses in here for Potter than Arteta got early doors.
Yeah he has some big issues but come on there’s nothing for their fans too buy into yet. One lousy win against Bournemouth and some real poor showings and that’s since the world cup only.
Not everything is an excuse mate. Nothing wrong with looking at a situation and assessing it based on relevant factors.
At the moment all you are doing is basically: Chelsea not win game = Potter bad
Could be doing better for sure but context is important too.
Been waiting to be convinced for 4 seasons tbf on Potter.
