Ridiculous how much fouling he’s allowed to get away with.
A draw is not the worst result. Not being at our best and managed to get a point.
Not having Saliba or Gabriel is huge.
Chavs were very physical and Taylor was his usual self…
If Timber left that for Vic I think he scores and we go ballistic
genuinely thought we were going to see 2 reds, given how many yellows that bald prick was handing out in the first half.
Slightly disappointing but a bit like the Sunderland game some teams are just going to put it fully up to us in their own ground.
we didn’t play that great today but you should be winning vs ten men, Chelsea battled well and deserved the point and probably would have won with 11 vs 11
it’s a good point at the bridge but not so much versus ten men
just go and beat Brentford at home on wednesday
If you had told me we’d be 5 points clear of Man City and top of the CL table after Spurs, Bayern and Chelsea, Id have been calm with that.
We are still in a great position as far as Im concerned.
Playing away to one our biggest rivals for the title, without a striker or either of the best CB’s in the PL and getting a draw is pretty decent.
It is, but given the game state of them being down to 10 it also feels like a disappointingly missed opportunity
I feel way more nervous without either one of Saliba or Gabriel playing
Think both points of view are valid, in that it is indeed a decent point on the road and we still sit 5 points ahead in the table, but given how Chelsea were 10 men for so long, it also does feel like 2 points dropped.
Shut up Theo
Nice to see how competitive even the bench is getting with some of the players that have returned
Just need to get rid of the injury bug touch wood and sets us in good stead going forward
Any output from Mikel? I’m hoping he doesn’t give it the usual ‘we were amazing, we should’ve won with the chances we created’ garbage.
Just say we were shit and move on.
What did he say?
Just that if we’ve got the best squad we have to be beating Chelsea. Nothing to edgy but It just annoys me from him as it’s not like he had an elite, winning mentality as a player.
He’s not wrong but I just can’t stand hearing it from him. He has no credibility on this subject matter the lazy cock. Nowhere to be seen when we counted on him.
Theo is honestly annoying to listen to, this guy was the absolute symbol of our mediocrity during those years and bottled big games himself.
Talk trash when you’ve led by example. Meanwhile Thierry did the latter and still doesn’t say things like Theo does.
Also don’t fucking score against us when we’re in a title race!
I can see a neutral thinking Arteta does that but in my view Arteta is not one to shy away from a bad performance by hyping it up.
He did mention that we lacked some details today to be threatening today(I guess another way to say we were sloppy) and that it was a very competitive London derby, especially physically.
He moreso focused on how tough a week it’s been and while the return hasn’t been bad the team is disappointed not to win.
Overall he defended the boys, which they’ve earned this season tbf.
Reece James is an absolute fucking cunt
