Slightly disappointing but a bit like the Sunderland game some teams are just going to put it fully up to us in their own ground.
we didn’t play that great today but you should be winning vs ten men, Chelsea battled well and deserved the point and probably would have won with 11 vs 11

If you had told me we’d be 5 points clear of Man City and top of the CL table after Spurs, Bayern and Chelsea, Id have been calm with that.

Playing away to one our biggest rivals for the title, without a striker or either of the best CB’s in the PL and getting a draw is pretty decent.

Think both points of view are valid, in that it is indeed a decent point on the road and we still sit 5 points ahead in the table, but given how Chelsea were 10 men for so long, it also does feel like 2 points dropped.

I can see a neutral thinking Arteta does that but in my view Arteta is not one to shy away from a bad performance by hyping it up.
He did mention that we lacked some details today to be threatening today(I guess another way to say we were sloppy) and that it was a very competitive London derby, especially physically.
He moreso focused on how tough a week it’s been and while the return hasn’t been bad the team is disappointed not to win.
Overall he defended the boys, which they’ve earned this season tbf.
