Well said Ron.
If we aren’t confident of a performance in our current state, then I don’t think we ever will be.
The result going our way is another matter, but I’m at least expecting us to acquit ourselves well.
We have nothing to fear from any team in this league barring City.

Our best is better than Chelsea’s best, it would be great if we can bring somewhere near our optimum level Sunday.

Sol:
barring City.
Agree with everything except for this.
We’re up there. We have the tools to cope with them.

I think we’re now at the point where there isn’t a team in the world we can’t at least give a game.
Phenomenal progress really if you think about it.

I think you’re right, it was Emery that gave him his first chance

Those league cup performances of him seem longer ago than 2019

Emery was the manager in 2019/20 until he was sacked

A quick Google probably would have sorted this all out but it’s more fun this way

That 5-3 victory at Stamford Bridge was a fun match.

Fulham almost did us a favour but it looks like we have to go for a win here.
I think a draw puts us level with City but they’re ahead on goal difference. Just wouldn’t sit right if we spent all this time on top to give it away in the last few fixtures.
Come on boys, let’s continue our good run.

Even if we go into the World Cup level on points with City a couple of small advantages we would have.
City will have played 8 at home 6 away
Us 6 at home and 8 away
Us played 4 of our 10 matches vs the big 6
City only 2 of their 10 matches vs big 6
