Charlie Patino (Loan: Swansea)

Lol that is genuinely only a few months worth of training and good diet for an 18 year old kid like him. He’s probably already super lean anyway and he doesn’t have a huge amount of muscle on him in reality.

Tbf, you probably need him besides someone else to see the difference. Could be the angle and lighting that makes him look different.

Regardless, it’s been months since we last saw him and these guys are working with pros in the game. It isn’t just a kid starting from scratch on his own learning at a slow pace.

Doesn’t look that big. Just looks more toned.

He looks like he aged a year or two.

For me it’s the face, not even the body.

yeah his face looks way older

I’m expecting big things from this guy over the next couple of years…defo have Wilshere vibes, hopefully without the injury issues. Pleased if he does remain in the squad until at least January and should be able to get some game time.

Also see that he has a new number…obviously a special number for this young guy

Need a Mod to update this thread…

Wheeey lads

The lad’s ears aren’t aerodynamic

brilliant to stop though those airbrakes (earbrakes) :henry2:

This kid is too small to even loan out yet.

good job you werent in charge of messi. What has height or weight gotta do with talent?

Quite a bit actually. Sterling was small in stature but physically strong at 17.
Certain players can get away with it. Rooney, Owen, Gerrard, Fabregas but they are the exception to the rule.
Cut above the rest at early ages that their talent balance out while they develop all around strength.

what of bernardo and david silva KDB…lots of midfielders that were slight build and small which have done brilliantly. Cant say it is the same for this guy, but maybe too much made of physical attributes in football.

No there isn’t. You can ruin a player playing him too young because of it.
This lad is a talented youngster right now and on his starting path to a career.
There’s nothing wrong developing his game and frame at his level.
ESR who is far more elevated than this kid is having issues right now. Sometimes it just needs time unless your one of the exceptionally advanced talents.
He plainly isn’t but doesn’t mean he won’t be a future talent. Protect him.

yeah for sure he doesnt need to be rushed fully agree, but if he can learn in the 1st team and play a couple of minutes at the end of games some cup games could be good for him. I dont think a loan is truly needed if he is deemed good enough, if he can help the first team even if it is rotation for games that are done or not really important.
