Isn’t the Lake District part of the midlands? Supposed to be good trail running there. It looks absolutely bleak!

Accrington Stanley…the best name for a team ever.

Exactly

F’ckin sacrilege!

The Lake District is perhaps the UK’s crowning glory.

(About 200 miles apart, mate)

It seems something has gone right over my head, is Accrington famous for milk as well as Stanley?

Ah, my favourite midfielder. Shame Wenger was losing his competitive edge around that period then 1-2 more signings would’ve turned that 2007/08 season on it’s head…

Only about the quarter of the Island apart.

Lands End to John O’Groats is only 840 miles, or 600 as the crow flies.

Not sure when they stopped having them used to thief them on the way to football practice early in the morning around 2001 :joy: Fuck me just realised that was 20 years ago

Edit: highlighted the year for reference, must of been around the mid 2000s when they stopped with the bottle deliveries. Or do they still do them?

I think in this Ozil / Fabregas debate IMO Ozil probably peaked in his early 20s at Real Madrid, Cesc peaked in his early 20s at us.

As to who played the better football at us ? I’d probably lean towards Cesc, as for who was better overall ? I’m not so sure, it’s a good debate.

We finished just 4 points behind the winners even with that nonsense.

Clichy & Gallas really fucked up in Birmingham game.
