Wasn’t good enough for Arsenal or the PL to be fair, him and his agent did well to get a move here to be fair. Looked out of his depth for most of his time here, his best football was probably his first year at West Ham. He’s a championship player at best. Good luck to him, but great to get him off the books. Nice lad and nice message but time to move on.

Yeah I think of anything his contribution was a little underrated. He wasn’t great but he gave 100% and rarely made a high profile error. He just wasn’t really good enough for the level we needed.
I remember some real solid games from him.

He had regular gametime when Sagna got injured and played well enough for BradyMagic to get angry at Wenger for benching Jenkinson as soon as Sagna came back.

He’s another one we probably could have got decent money for (10m or so) after his first loan stint at West Ham but instead we just pissed it away with another loan and then bringing him back into the fold.
He was fine as a cover but ultimately he had to play too much and just wasn’t at the level required.
