Xhaka made a bad pass but the defence should not be letting in a goal at that point in the game.
Xhaka is not primarily to blame there.

This is not just on Xhaka. The team were doing absolutely nothing the past 10 minutes or so in order to get the ball away or get initiative back.
Playing Özil on the wing and away from home no less.
Does Emery actually have a clue?
Going forward we’ve done well and Lacazette has been exemplary but ultimately our defensive set up is still incredibly weak.
There is nothing our on the ball work can do to make up for what’s happening with our defending off it.
