Bayern draw against Freiburg

That should be that now, Leverkusen aren’t letting this slip

Feels like Bayern just didn’t have the fight in them after the loss to Leverkusen.

It will be interesting to see if they manage to bottle it at home to Lazio.

Maybe signing all the Spurs players wasn’t such a great strategy.

Dier did them in finally haha

But yeah Leverkusen knocked the stuffing out of them, looks like they don’t believe and that’s an indictment on Tuchel

players gave up on the coach long time ago, since the fucker had a fight with Kimmich and went to public saying he wanted Kimmich to be replaced.

No way Leverkusen bottles it from here

Not sure if I saw it here but someone speculated that the reason they’re keeping Tuchel is because the management that sacked Nigel would look bad, so they’re trying to save face.

It honestly checks out to me. I’ve seen Bayern coaches be sacked for less. For the love of god, they sacked their director right after winning the the league.

This is definitely going deeper because there is no way they see how far back Tuchel has set them and are happy about it.

Bayern’s management has been in a steep decline. The churning of coaches has caught up to them.

Tuchel going to have a rough time recovering from this. Can’t look at him the same after this.

They’d sack Tuchel right now if they could tempt Heynckes out of retirement.

Bayern don’t make a move like that until they’ve got the next guy ready and they are probably struggling a little with who that is right now.

They could have used the manager bounce imo. I reckon there’s plenty out there willing to be caretakers that’d do better in these last few months.

Tuchel lost that dressing room long ago when he was saying publicly that they don’t have a holding midfielder and then at the same time Kimmich was publicly saying “Well, I’m a holding midfielder”.

The dude has a history of falling out with players and in public manner as well. Happened at Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea and now Bayern.

There’s obviously the old dogs in Muller and Neuer still there but I view Kimmich as one of the leading figures, especially with the majority of the squad that are around his age or younger. If the relationship is broken with such a key member of the team, I’d be shocked if more players aren’t second-guessing Tuchel.
De Ligt forced a move out of Juve only to Tuchel to sign Kim in the summer and then to makes matter worse, he signed Dier too.

Yea i don’t disagree but it’s just not really their style unless they could bring in a ‘Bayern’ guy for the short term and I’m not sure who’d fit the bill right now.

They’ll just see it out until they can get who they want, he’s definitely not still there cos people are embarrassed.

I said ages a phony covid CL title was the only propping illusion of Bayern up.

Idgaf about their historical status. Bayern are currently a B tier European power.

Kimmich was the actual leader when Neuer was out.

How dare fucking Tuchel shot fire against Kimmich in public.

EtH was once an assistant at Bayern right? Maybe Rio had some inside info???

Apparently Ole is the one they’re considering as caretaker if Tuchel gets sacked.

They low-key won’t have a choice if he somehow gets knocked out by Lazio.

I guess he’d at least not make the place miserable. Tuchel seems to be kind of a dickhead. I don’t know that their football would be any better but maybe the players would be a little happier.

Ole was actually decent for Man Utd. In retrospect he’s the second best manager Man Utd had after Mourinho.

Ole is the perfect guy to get the good vibes back to the dressing room. There’s a reason they’ve given him the PE teacher tag.

Man Utd fumbled it by not realising he wasn’t the end goal coach and handed him Varane, Ronaldo among others to go into a title race with Pep and Klopp, lol.

If Gerrard had said this :trossard:

I mean anyone but Liverpool but what a shame if Bayern are able to poach him.

The Bundesliga is well and truly dead then, even with a Leverkusen win.

I see all this as an attempt to dilute the excitement of Leverkusen’s title win or a way to destabilise Xabi.

No way he would want to discuss his future while he is such a peculiar situation.
