That is why you cancel the competition…
Germany seem to have the virus under a fair degree of control, active cases going down each day with very few deaths overall, don’t see the problem for them to give the remainder of the season a go.
The effect of allowing 5 subs rather than three will be basically negligible over the amount of games left I’d imagine.
Yeah and you can still only make substitutions 3 times, so there won’t be extra stoppages. Would have been great to have seen Emery make 5 half time subs!
Anyone waking up early for the Dortmund-S04 match?
Not waking up early as it’s half two in the afternoon for me haha but yes can’t wait in a weird way it feels like the first game of the season excitement
This is an interesting read. BT Sport’s chief operating officer tells us how they are managing to show live football with social distancing enforced.
The commentator and co commentator are doing it live from their houses
Are BT customers having to pay their subscription fees again for this German shit?
Or is it still suspended like Sky Sports?
BT Sport have a lot of decent programmes/films to be fair. Rocky & Wrighty is a great watch. And the Crazy Gang. I enjoyed that one.
Honestly think the crowd loss is bigger in Germany than the Prem.
Of course it is. They always played in sold out stadiums, whereas a lot of our clubs don’t.
It’ll be interesting to see how they deal with it.
Just watching the Sport in Focus on Jadon Sancho right now. Nicely made!
When he talks about his move to Germany he speaks of how big a gamble it was for him. Never looked at it that way before but big respect to him!
My decision to watch Leipzig over Dortmund has been validated with the knowledge that McManaman is commentating on the Dortmund game.
I’m watching you guys watching Bundesliga like a bloke who’s just said “no” to a plate of chips that’s been offered to him by a mate (even though he was, indeed, hungry)
Twisted analogies aside, dare I ask, how is the football?
Different with no fans but still football.
So happy live football is back. Beers and Bundesliga absolute perfect Saturday
Well according to Twitter, McManaman has been moaning about the lack of fluidity. Seems Dortmund are playing like a team who haven’t had a game in two months due to a pandemic
Mi Leipzig are doing alright, they really should be ahead. They do play beautiful football sometimes.
It’s weird without fans in the stadium. They should just let one fan from each team in and make them both sing for the entire match.
HAALAND!!! What a finish
Make sure you guys remember Bundesliga when/if things go back to normal.
Bundesliga is for life, not just for Christmas
