Bukayo Saka (7)

Nah Sterling was talent from the start and was totally top talent from the get go.
I’d concede he had a good manager in Rodgers whose totally better than an Emery to encourage that as he’s more proactive.
Yeah the kids young but he’s exactly a carbon copy of an Iwobi for me and I’m not holding my breath. Same with Willock tbh.

The only massive, bright spark, talented youngster we’ve had in the last 10 to 15 years was Wilshere. A joy to watch when he first burst onto the scene and played for the club, clearly. People were comparing him to Scholes, this boy’s trajectory looked better than Scholes. The irony is, he wasn’t meant to be a goal scorer yet he scored the goal of the season 2 years in a row.

Injury and an off-field ‘Jack the Lad’ image sort of ruined him.

Point is, as far as influential youngsters have an impact on the team, no one comes close to Wilshere

Yeah, he’ll still definitely get chances to play. By next Wednesday, he could have played 3 times for Arsenal in the space of 9 days (last night, in the Europa League on Thurs and against Liverpool in the cup). He can’t complain about lack of opportunities at Arsenal (not that he’s the sort of boy who looks like he will, either)

Bring in Laca for all league games. We need wins now.

Even won player of the season ahead of Fabregas & Van Persie. People tend to forget how effing good he was

Always going to struggling on the left side against a physical 5 man southend defence .

Dont know why but for years everytime we bring a youngster through they play cautious and they second guess themselves and just dont play aggressive. You see United or pool bring on a youngster on the wing or upfront and they will try to beat the whole world with their arrogance and I think you absolutely need that at top clubs. We keep just bringing in iwobis, you never get the feeling one of our youngsters will come on their debut and destroy a team like rashford did. Or control ( sort of) a game like wilshere did vs barcelona where he didnt give a shit who he was playing against.

Unprofessional cunt.

What did he do?

Didn’t close down or follow or challenge for the cross that lead to the equaliser.

in fairness to him he was probably gassed, but if only he carried on for a couple more minutes :santi:

He’s a kid, he’s going to make mistakes. Wouldn’t be too harsh on him. Anyone knocking the kid need to relax.

I fucking won’t. He just cost us the game.

He’s a fucking kid in a cup you forget it ever happened in a day or two. All the best young talents make them. No wonder these kids get their confidence shattered.

No way. He gets three chances to do something. It’s ridiculous he allowed the player all that time.
It’s an equal game tonight on youngsters and there’s won.
Games in the bag and he only has to do basics.

Emery should have taken him off yet again. First it was Pepe and now Ozil. Saka should not be on the pitch ahead of these two especially when blowing out of his arse.

Fucking dumb management

Immature performance by Saka.

Should have been subbed off instead of Torriera. Really not sure why Torriera was taken off come to think of it.

Because he’ll start instead of Xhaka on Saturday :xhaka2:

Saka’s young and needs guidance which he won’t get from Emery.
