Was so annoyed he didn’t do any defending 2nd half, left Kolasinac with so much to do. Was a matter of time before they scored from that side. Should have been subbed for Pepe.

Kid looked confused as hell when he came on. You kept hearing “Buyako” from Emery.
You know Mr. Emery, you’re the one who brought him on.
Should be indisputable now that Emery is the bad apple that keeps infecting the whole tree. Needs to get the fuck out.

He wasn’t tested defensively which was a blessing for us with him out of position, really enjoyed how he tried to get forward on the overlap at times.

Played better than I anticipated but you have to say he wasn’t tested at all by a bizarrely disinterested / tepid Everton attack. They were possibly even more inept than we were going forward, despite supposedly having more confidence

Lots of stray passes and poor touches going both ways… just diabolically bad progression by both teams in general. TBF, I think Everton threatened us a tiny bit more.
Re: Saka - did ok… would like to see more/better combination on the left - feel like we really couldn’t unlock them or get any combo/throughballs going, but he did make one or two decent runs at least.

His crossing was nothing short of pathetic, really hope he develops next 18 months and can make it.
Other youngsters like Nelson, ESR and Willock aren’t good enough and I hope the club realises that sooner rather than later.

Seriously I looked at our starting lineup today and thought, in and ideal world I’d only want 2 of these guys starting for our club… one of them is a goalkeeper also.
