Yeah. Thought he had a very good game. Made our first goal, heavily involved in the third, could have scored on other occasions too…
Was very good, although I did feel he wasn’t at his very best physically.

His side had Spence, Sarr and VdV. That’s their most athletic CB, MF and CB. Despite that, he kept on finding himself in dangerous positions and their players kept missing him.
Defensively I also thought that was his best display in some time too.
I think people are just noticing that he is not scoring and assisting like he was 2 seasons ago. He set a very high standard unfortunately and the drop off is noticeable. Thankfully a “poor” Saka performance is still pretty darn good.

That’s what I thought too. Spence actually had a good game and we still won 4-1. Saka has answers for any challenge, that’s what makes him so valuable.

I’m not sure, I might be imagining things after his recent injury. But it doesn’t take anything away from his performance or the impact he made. Just saying it felt he wasn’t at his 100%.
If he only scored one of those chances he’s surely a contender for the MOTM.

he struggled imo. Maybe I’m blind, but I really don’t see what was so special about his performance today. It was just ‘meh’ to me. Not dreadful, but not deserving of all the platitudes I see above.
He has the 3rd lowest match rating amongst the first 11… 
Ahead of Rice (cause of the mistake), and Trossard who was genuinely shite all game.

hope he is alright seeing him limping around makes me extremely nervous. 
You get marked down in those player ratings when you miss chances, especially if you come out without any goals in the end. I don’t expect you or many others to know this so I can’t blame you for it. I’m just a nerd.
Take into account Saka somehow got robbed of an assist too.
I’m willing to accept had we not won perhaps his chances would’ve been viewed more critically but you can’t deny he was causing Spurs a lot of problems and that first goal he practically served it on a plate.

People are so emotional. Nobody is saying that Saka is crap. Thought he was out for lack of better vocabulary at the moment, “Least threatening forward”. Gyokeres and Eze were excellent and Trossard was finding space.
Saka was pretty good. His finishing was wank.

Any news after the game on how he is doing?
Glad that the CAM experiment has seemingly ended. He links up well with Odegaard and had some really good moments with Eze. If we are going to get over the line, we need our star player in form and the likelihood of that increases if he plays in his actual position.

I agree. Saka was excellent today, and really don’t know how he didn’t get on the score sheet. Very unlucky not to get a goal today!
