Bukayo Saka (7)

Shame they’re not releasing this under better circumstances…

Why move Saka central?

Arteta moved Saka because he’s a bum of a manager who is now in the desperate phase of the process. Don’t want to see it today.

Genuine question, has Arteta improved the output or quality of any offensive player during his entire tenure at Arsenal?

He has increased their awareness when being pickpocketed during team dinner though.

Martinelli before he converted him into a defensive-minded wingback.

Are you ignoring Saka developing into one of Europe’s best wingers? Or Trossard being one of the leagues most productive wingers?

I mean, nothing controversial or enlightening there. You know Gyokeres isn’t a striker who will create stuff for the wingers around and get them involved, especially compared to Havertz who is great in that sense.

Still not sure you’ll get too much out of Saka as a 10 (compared to playing as a winger), with any kind of forward in front. I think our system in general isn’t fluid or flexible enough to play Saka as a 10. You can’t really ask him to act as an out and out 10 (Ozil), to create that much for others. He would still need to have the freedom to change and switch positions and roles at times… We don’t do that really.

I don’t see much of a future in that idea.

How the hell did that first goal not go down as a Saka assist?!

Also:

This has got to be ragebait.

Yea thats fucking ridiculous

Offers so much more even when not scoring or assisting. Though an increase in output won’t hurt with the title race to tightly locked now.

Offensively looked dangerous, good to see him skipping past players. Still can’t find back of the net though.

Really makes our attack click but needs to improve on his output.

Thought Spence had him locked down to be honest. Still doesn’t look sharp for me.

Saka could’ve had a couple goals to his name, and he absolutely got robbed of an assist.

How exactly did Spence lock him up?

Had an answer for nearly every take on. Saka wasn’t getting any change out of him. Spencer moved to right back during the second half.

All of those Saka chances cane with Spence at LWB though and the same about that assist.

Same. I still think Saka was quite average today.

The Saka disrespect is crazy. He was constantly asking questions of his full back, he was making dangerous runs, never gave Spence a second to relax and was also good defensively

I genuinely think some people don’t actually understand football sometimes.
