He has been the best player in arguably the top team in Europe so probably yes.

Rooney probably paid some bot agencies to vote No on that poll.

He’s not been at the level we expect so far this season, and I’m not just basing that on output.

He needs a strong end to the season. He has an interesting role tonight, let’s see how he does.

Will get the recognition he truly deserves if he can step up in these final games and help us cross the finishing line.

That’s weird!

Not overly sold on him in that role tonight.

He’s been OK but you probably can’t expect more of him as a pure 10, with two out and out wide players around, and two relatively defensive CMs… no one to help him too much creating, interchanging positions etc. He’s no prime Ozil.

Thought he was our best player but with Martinelli and Madueke looking like shit today, you wonder what’s even the point of pushing our best wide forward in the middle when there are other options.

This has been a problem the whole season, on the right wing too with Odegaard not doing much. It has been literally give him the ball and let’s see if he gets an assist or goal.

He’s definitely lost that pace and burst now. Few moments in the game where he would have used his pace to get away from his man but not anymore.

Captain coward. Shit today. Wolves aren’t Wigan. When is Havertz back?

He’s getting the big contract at the wrong time, but at same time there’s no way we can let him leave

You mean moments before he was subbed off for what seemed a planned sub(Trossard was already ready to go) after coming back from an injury?

Absolutely incredible in the number ten role. Him and Madueke were reminiscent of KDB and Sane. Masterstroke playing our best forward out of position so that we could enjoy the brilliance of Madueke.

Here’s one Mikel. Play Saka out wide or not at all. It’s that easy. The goal doesn’t cover the fact he looked ineffective.

Did he look anymore ineffective than Eze has or in fact Odegaard has in that role of late?

Low bar, but no. Maybe he may have impacted the game more than Madueke or Martinelli if employed out wide. Guess we’ll never know.

i feel he has had a really poor season, a shadow of the player he usually is
