It depends, theyāre more flexible now and it goes last for two to two and half hours. Thereās also no ads now(there are some short breaks though).
Awful opening segment. Dog shit from both Cena and Rhodes.
Close enough. Itās about as long as it was with ads at 3 hours. 2 and a bit hours of actual tv. Iāve never been able to get on with weekly TV that went over 2 hours with ads / 90 mins actual programming.
Much better segment than last week. They may have spoiled the result though by having Cena claiming that heās winning the title and retiring with it.

Cena is carrying the feud, which is a shame because after next week he isnāt advertised until Mania. Just donāt feel like thereās enough hype there for the match. Cena should really show up every week until Mania to sell the match.
Not if heās going to come out and deliver rambling nonsense like tonight. He was marginally better than Codyās CTRL + C, CTRL + V promos but not by much.
Also, Punk should really have something to say about Cena ripping off the whole āIām going to leave with the title and render all future champions irrelevantā thing

Iām not hyped for Mania at all tbh. The 2 menās and 2 womenās world title rivalries are all falling flat for me. Tiffany very clearly isnāt ready. Cody and Cena just isnāt hitting it right now and I still donāt think Jey was the right one to win the rumble just cause I donāt see him as a world champion. IYO/Rhea/Bianca is a little better build wise but even itās not great still.

I know Jey isnāt popular online but live crowds really seem to love him. I donāt think he should win the title though.
Iām kind of invested in Tiffany Vs Charlotte but for the wrong reasons because I just hate seeing Charlotte perform, win titles and indeed, exist. I wish sheād just fuck off.
I am interested in a heel Cena title reign, despite tonightās uninspiring offering. And I donāt want Codyās reign to go into a second year. Heās been ok, but heās very bland as champion.
I would rather the Womenās world title was just Rhea Vs Bianca. I canāt say I would have cared if Iyo had been left off the card entirely. But I think we will still get that match down the road.
I honestly donāt mind Jey but heās really not world champion material Iām sorry.
Tiffany and Charlotte did a promo on smackdown and it was one of the worst promos Iāve heard in a long long time. Tiffany has potential but Charlotte is just awful in every aspect.
I still maintain that Punk should have won the Rumble so we get Gunther vs Punk at Mania. Seth vs Roman tells its own story which doesnāt need Punk involved.

That Charlotte / Tiffany promo was really weird. I think Charlotte went into business for herself and went off script. Reminds me of the time she threw that title at Becky.
Iām with you on Jey. Heās very likable, but not a great singles talent. I thought his IC title reign should have lasted a lot longer, heās a good fit for that role.
Gunther Vs Punk doesnāt inspire me much. In fact the World title in general just isnāt reaching the levels WWE would like it too. Itās still very clearly a secondary title.

Yeah I think having Punk go for the title would have elevated Mania and the title. The build would have been a lot better. The promo work would be top notch and itās guaranteed the match would be great for a Mania.
Should see the āspearā he did last week. Was so bad Cole thought it was a cross body lol
