Boring as shit isn’t it. You could argue it’s been about 9 years since they probably should have fought and at least 4-5 years since the fight was a genuine MEGA bout.
I get why Hearn might want AJ to fight a tune up because of the physical and mental effects of the accident in December…. but at this stage what is the point? Just put them in the ring this summer / late summer and get it over and done with.

Caught the last couple of rounds of the Fury fight and they’re talking more about a potential AJ/Fury fight than the actual fight happening.

AJ was right in his response though. He battered Fury in sparring years ago and from that point Fury has done everything in his power to avoid the fight.
Now AJ is also right, until the contracts are signed nobody is gonna believe the fight will happen. It’s funny that AJ was calling out Fury last year during his “retirement” and then days after the crash in December Fury comes out of retirement and starts calling out AJ.
He knows full well the guy is probably not ready to get back in the ring yet so he’ll do what he does best and make all the noise in public
