I think the Manny that was battering the top WWs would have beaten Floyd he had the perfect blend of speed, angles, footwork and power. We didn’t get to see them fight until arguably 5 or so years after Pacquiao’s prime and by that point he had already lost twice more (albeit one a very dubious decision) and become noticeably slower in every way.
Anyway - Floyd will likely end up losing his 0 at some point in pursuit of money. How the hell he keeps going broke like @Jules said is beyond me. He’s earned more money than you should be able to spend in multiple lifetimes yet this must be the third or forth time he’s been flat out broke and can’t pay his bills.
Floyd as a person is a complete moron. He’s essentially a boxing savant.
Even then you’d think he’d have found someone to manage his money and do something to at least help him keep some of it. It’s not like sports stats usually manage their finances well.
I can understand sports stars who get a $2 million a year contract for a few years and end up broke. I can’t understand people who get hundreds of millions and go broke, then get another few hundred million again and go broke. And now he’s going broke for the third or fourth time lol
Floyd was dismantling the top boys at Welter as well - they couldn’t lay a glove on him. Then fighting later on benefitted Msnny. Floyd was older and had seriously damaged hands and shoulders.
Pretty Boy Fighter Floyd would have wiped the floor with Manny at the lower weights. All opinion but I’d have Manny as favourite for this match.
Usyk has earned this to be fair. Enough motivation to train a bit, keep ticking over, get paid and beat Fury for a third time before retiring as a very rich man with his faculties about him.
