You’re trying way too hard in a way that I’m wondering if you even watched the fight. Fury is in the corner taking shots to the glove, tongue out, flicking jabs. He’s landing clean body shots to perfection. You can argue he didn’t outbox Usyk for noticeable parts of the fight if it makes you feel better.
The punch stats were only posted to defuse the idea that Fury got schooled in the fight. Usyk won, deservedly. I’m not sure what you want to be honest?
Usyk boxed really well and his heart is incredible.
Point to the point where anyone said he was schooled?
He lost because Usyk made the necessary adjustments and Fury had no answer for him after that. You keep pointing to round 9 as being the changing point of the fight it was round 8 where Usyk took and bloodied Fury’s face and started to find his range and rhythm.
The 9th round should have been a stoppage but from the 8th onwards, Usyk adjusted and Fury didn’t.
It’s thoroughly enjoyable watching a man who shat on AJ for losing to Usyk, called him a middleweight and said no man born of his mother could beat him.
The so called middleweight born of his mother was basically stopped in the 9th round lol.
I’m happy. Ecstatic to see the myth of Fury slowly being broken down over the last 12 months.
If Fury does chase the rematch it’ll be a comprehensive defeat.
Well the beautiful thing about boxing is that you get definitive answers. You expect Usyk to beat Fury in comprehensive fashion. I expect Fury to avenge the defeat and set up an incredible trilogy.
What a fight. Best technical boxing match at heavyweight in a long time.
Fury’s best ever performance for me and Usyk did brilliantly to weather the storm and turn the fight around after the 7th. He always knew he had the gas tank over Fury and put it on him in the 9th. Only Usyk with full belief in his lifetime of greatness in the sport can do that. Certified hall of famer and a true undisputed champ.
