AJ is literally the consensus third best heavyweight in the world. He’s the only viable contender for either guy after the rematch.

I believe the contract is the loser can call an immediate rematch.

The only reason I ask is that I know some fighters won’t offer a rematch if they win, but insist on one if they lose…was just curious if Fury had the balls to offer one if he won.
Would rather see AJ-Fury just so we can finally tick that fight off but it will probably never happen now.
Fury will lose the rematch and probably retire unless the money on the table is crazy.

If I was Fury I wouldn’t really want a rematch. He lost his edge. Showed in the Ngannou fight.
Seeing how this turned out, Usyk now knows how to get him, and it won’t be split decision next time.
I think that’s just posturing a lot of the time. Pretty much all these big title fights have the rematch clause.
The amount of money that will be on the table you take the rematch regardless, what’s he got to lose now?
Plus nothing to say Fury can’t learn more from this and how to protect himself better next time. I think he is too cocky and just expected to win with his size in the first half. He showed in the middle he can also get at Usyk but again got too cocky, needed to make it count more.
Probably the cockiness will cost him the rematch too given it sounds like his post fight speech was deluded.
Oh, I think he’s purely doing this for the money now. Could’ve and probably should’ve retired.

Usyk was the right result. Fury needed better late fight management, glad he gave an excellent account of himself and took camp serious
I hope there’s a rematch clause already in the contract otherwise I can see purse negations getting the way.
