Bournemouth vs Arsenal (PL) 2-0

In the same situation we’d be demanding a red

It’s a red card as Evanilson is getting a shot off IMO

Agree. And I’m a bit of an atheist.

Individual errors. Trossard’s poor pass and Saliba’s poor defensive decision. 100% red card.

Not looking good brev.

Well, we’ll see how they go against us next week. I just have a feeling they will dominate us. Their attack vs our defense cause we’re not that dangerous going forward this season.

Arsenal’s biggest problem is no longer quality. But discipline. The group is full of battle axes and commit for every ball and are tactically world-class, but lack discipline.

You simply can’t compete for championships if you’re getting 1 man sent off almost ever other EPL game. It has to stop.

Love him but I think Martinelli(if fit) is the one to come on instead.

In hindsight, subbing off Raj was a bad call.

Discipline was fine last season. This is our first genuine red of the season and we should be on maximum points coming into today.

Everyone needs to relax, title is ours.

Howard Webb having an earpiece is not dodgy at all

And yet we have scored more goals than them against tougher opponents.

Liverpool are paper tigers, we’ll expose them.

All 3 reds are controversial, how many other teams are getting reds for same offences…

We’ve got to dig in for the second half. Need at least a draw from today. Trossard really needs to make up for that error.

When Sterling got cooked by the left-footed Semenyo, it was curtains for him

Liverpool are Cougars, we will fuck them hard

Only dodgy if he is intervening. Otherwise, I would expect the lead decision-maker to have first-hand experience of on-field ref & VAR communication.

That’s the spirit Ron.

No subs for us then.

Random sub from Bournemouth but if they wana leave more space at the back that’s fine cheers.

It’s not a pointless hypothetical because if there’s no cut off you’d start getting red cards every week for it.
How can someone say there’s a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity when the player has to run over half the length of the pitch to get that, at which point defenders may have got back anyway.

And it all comes back to whether there’s a clear and obvious error, and I don’t know how anyone could come to the conclusion that it is. To do so you’d need a crystal ball.

True, I think two of our reds probably shouldn’t have been reds.

But when you recognise a group of people have an agenda against you, it’s on you to stop putting them in a position where they have the power to punish you.

Especially if they’re the lawmakers and don’t follow their own rules to the letter for everyone else.
