Trions going the right way for some free gym equipment.
How do you keep pushing this when the topic is about Zionism?
Palestinian conflict is a consequence but the ideology of Zionism is not wrong.
If BLM protest lead to civil war, it would be a consequence, not fault of BLM ideology.
Or cancer.
And why go after my family? Haha
Could you please retract the curse and just focus it on me?
They are kind souls and they just like to eat some fish curry.
No one who eats fish curry can have a kind soul
A good fish curry is yum yum
It actually stated âyou canât critique Zionismâ. So while Iâd agree Jews have a right to their own state, they donât have a right to steal a whole nations land while massacring their people, which they have in fact done. Surely that would be the critique
Currently itâs proving to be the case you canât critique Israel, as a shadow cabinet minister has been fired this week for doing just that
âJewsâ didnât steal anything. The Israeli government has.
I didnât see anything particularly anti-Semitic about it, maybe the Zionism bit was suspect, the rest of it a perfectly legitimate position. I posted about it because it was worse than what RLB did and also there is no way that the Premier League for example would endorse that statement or all the businesses etc. who support BLM.
Some Jews (including this Jew
) opposes it. I donât have any connection to the political entity called Israel (despite having lived there).
Do I believe that the religion and culture of Judaism has a connection to that land? Sure.
Do I believe that there needs to be a political entity there to ostensibly legalize that connection? No.
Do I want that political entity to drive out people who were already there? No.
Do I want that political entity to do terrible things to the people who were already there and claim it was for my benefit even though practicing Judaism and being part of Jewish culture has literally nothing to do with said political entity? Hell no.
You know who really loves Zionism? Like more than most Jewish people? Evangelical right-wing Christian nutjobs in the US who believe that a strong Israel will hasten the end times. They drum up support for Israel (especially among the older Jewish community who has a very different view on Israel than the younger generations) without mentioning that in these glorious end times all the Jews die and go to Hell unless they accept Jesus, of course.
Look, I donât want to get this thread off track. BLM is way too important for that. Bottom line is that BLM UK has every right to wade into this discussion and people need to chill the fuck out and learn the difference between a religion, a culture and a political entity.
I think people end up attributing way too much to Zionism.
Jews have been pushed out of society ever since Christianity & Islam came into picture. People can claim that they are anti-Zionism but not anti Jews but Zionism came in 18th or 19th century. How do you explain all the oppression of Jews prior to that.
They have always been a second class citizens and lived under the fear of being one step away from being expelled from wherever they are. Look at Spanish inquisition.
So the concept of Zionism where Jews get to come back to their homeland where they belongis fair. Canan, a place Judaism was present long before Christianity and Islam should accomodate Jews. The concept only asks for a dedicated space for Jews so they donât get hunt down and massacred like Hitler did and can live as a first class citizen.
Why would anyone be against Zionism as a concept and with that context?
You would think BLM as an entity would relate to the plights of Jews and not use the word Zionist to indicate their stance.
It doesnât matter what Evangelical right wing Christians want, itâs what Jews want. They fought for it. They collaborated with Arabs for Arab independence, they got the deal fair and square. But as soon as they got it, they were attacked for all sides.
Everything that followed is a consequence of the attack, not Zionism.
I also find the concern for Palestine in media and amongst Muslims highly shallow. It is not a support for Palestinians, it is an opposition for Israel.
If they were really concerned about Palestinians, they would also raise concerns about mistreatment of Palestinians in Jordan.
They got an excuse to lay it on Jews and they are running with it. They donât particularly care about Palestine or their people.
He touched on something in this article which is very true. Even as a kid, I used to think black players were best on the wing and full back positions because of their physical gifts. I genuinely didnât think black players were intelligent enough to be creative players and thatâs why I bought in to all of the stereotypes as kids about black players being âquick and strongâ and that was it for a lot of them.
It probably wasnât until secondary school when I started to realise how much nonsense that was.
Funny thing about that it was the same for me. I was always played on the wings because I was fast and skillful which I did not mind but I was never given the option of playing in midfield and for some odd reason I never questioned it until I read you postđ
Right wing
I see what you did there
but yeah right wing
Itâs not hard to see why some people think that. The 100m is a perfect example why
All right guys, I think weâre done here, end of the line. Peak wokeness has been achieved.
The woke left is now saying that nature is racist.
Fucking racist tulips and oak trees, time to tear them down. Letâs get the nazi national trust while weâre at it.

Ah man, I love it, I wonât deny.
I am such a sucker for such content.
Edit - Is it countryside as in nature or countryside as in people?
later can be possible
Disgraceful.
Need to take the âoâ out of Countryfile
Whatâs wrong with this? A lot of the British countryside is very much overwhelmingly white British so itâs understandable why some ethnic people may feel unwelcome in certain areas.
