Black Lives Matter Movement

What did they tweet?

Was it the thing about Zionism and Israel settlers?

Stuff like this is why I’ll never back anything connected to the organisation BLM UK. They’re a far left political organization who focuses on perpetuating victimhood, LGBTQ and intersectionality.

BLM is a small movement though. The social issues are what is gathering support off genuine people. To much emphasis is trying to be apportioned onto a section of people here.
Obviously it suits the agenda of some commentators to try and overplay this card.

Not supporting a settler colonial state is the same as “perpetuating victimhood”?

“Not supporting a settler colonial state” is not the same as openly advocating for Palestinians.

Why would an organization with an alleged focus on black issues specifically in the UK feel the need to comment on anything concerning the Middle East?

Anti-Semitic? Seriously? In a week when a member of the opposition shadow cabinet is sacked for mentioning Israel, this is the supposed Anti Semitic tweet:

The cunts criticising this are the same cunts who state criticism of Israel is anti-semitic. Let’s not pretend these racist Jews do not exist.

Why wouldn’t they. Israelis regularly massacre Palestinians.

It’d be foundamentally racist not to include Palestinians in the discussion.

‘Oh, they’re black, why do they give a fuck about Palestinian lives’. What type of thinking is this even?

This is irrelevant to the discussion about black issues.

Intersectionality dilutes the focus on black issues, there is no international BAME alliance.

But anarchy communists like BLM UK rhink there should be

You’re literally a racist, they can be protest any oppression they wish to and unite with any group they wish to for this purpose.

‘Black people can only talk about black people being massacred’ (Sevchenko in 2020)

Black people stay focused on their own issues affecting them, in their own locality = Racist

If you personally want to protest the plight of Palestinians, by all means do it. Just don’t do it under the auspices of a organisation with a alleged focus on black issues in the UK

There was nothing anti-Semitic about what they tweeted. What’s going on with the continued annexation of the West Bank is a violation of international law.

Yes you’re telling them as black people, what oppression they can and can’t protest about. You’re saying they can’t protest the lives of massacred Palestinians and oppression, which is foundamentally racist.

I don’t think that’s what he’s saying. The UK BLM is not a political party and should focus on the wider issues at hand facing black people in the UK.

I don’t like BLM to be involved in other politics, because it takes away from the message and will just see them dismissed as a left wing political group (which it shouldn’t be - because fundamentally the movement should be about taking massive strides to eliminating racial inequality black people face in the UK).

There was certainly nothing anti-Semitic about that tweet though.

If you don’t like settler colonialism, which no one should (but many clearly do) then you should openly advocate for a free Palestine. The “balanced” liberal approach does not make any sense in this non-conflict. Fighting against colonialism is not a conflict.

I take it you disagree with what they say, not that they said it.

It it harmful for Palestine, when Palestinians show support for BLM and other movements? Of course not and this is something we see quite often.

A real left is supposed to be global anyway.

The BLM movement has gained strength due to unity of protestors around the world. Standing together against worldwide oppression, or at least the hegemony of Western oppression of peoples should be fundamental.

It would be great if the US BLM championed the Palestinians cause too.

What’s wrong with that?

Nothing, if you’re a fascist like yourself Trion, circle jerking to Muslim Holocaust, as we all know you have form for

Zionism is not endorsement of Holocaust. It is return of Jews to their homeland.
Why would any sane person oppose to that?

Why would any sane person oppose colonial invaders massacring Palestinians and driving them out of their country while stealing their land and property and keeping them in a racist appartheid police state?

I take it your family got stuck into the massacres after partition and hence you don’t have any moral contention to it.
