What agenda could people have? Some of us just don’t think Leno is that good. There’s no agenda to it, it’s just an opinion and one that isn’t that ridiculous.

He only cost twenty something millions, be more forgiving and generous.
We were not paying premium for a WC player.
In the end, he may not be convincing, but there are more issues we need to be concerned of. Right now, he is more than capable to be our #1.

He’s a great keeper but his presence when defending set pieces isn’t that great.
That’s an area Emi definitely had the edge.

We 100% sold the wrong keeper. We made a decision based on the fact that it might have been harder to move Leno and he cost the club more money.

The season has already been forfeited. How could you possibly do this badly with this team. They are probably not better than the best teams but no way should it be so low in the table.
Leno I don’t even know why people rate him so highly. Just because he’s German number 3?

If he wasn’t good he wouldn’t stand out though. It wasn’t long ago under Emery that we used to concede 20-30 shots aand Leno was there to save us.
Under Arteta we have improved defensively so we don’t concede as many chances but still, he has been reliable when needed.

Mind Blowing that in 50 less appearances he has already claimed more crosses, is 3 behind Leno’s clean sheet record. Wish there was a stat for Spilled shots into opposition players. Leno is on 7 mistakes vs 0 but im not sure those situations count as a mistake.
